Tracking
Parameters or Tracking Parm is the "live" and
historical data for campaigns. The information is stored on organization
accounts as a sub-tab of the History Tab. Each gift type (Corp,
Employee, Special Events, and Other Campaign has an area to track verbals,
reported and processed dollars. This information is used on the Campaign
Structure details and is pulled into the Monitoring Report. Note Tracking
Parameter information will only be relevant for Individual's that pledge as an
Individual. Employee dollars are on the organization.
What are Verbal Dollars? The Verbal Amount is one of the
Tracking Parameters that track the giving of an account. Verbal is the gift
amount confirmed verbally by donors, but the United Way has not received
anything in writing about the pledges. For example, you are at a luncheon
meeting and a donor tells you he will give you $1,000 but you have no paper to
back it up. You want to count the pledge but show it is by word of mouth
only.
What are Reported Dollars? The Reported Amount is one of
the Tracking Parameters that track contributions that have not yet been
finalized. The Envelope face has been entered, but all transactions have not
been entered. The Envelope has not been closed. Reported
dollars are only calculated for Workplace Envelopes since specific Individuals
cannot be recorded on a Miscellaneous Envelope. Andar ePledge allows
Reported Dollars to show LIVE as the pledges are coming in.
What are Processed Dollars? The Processed Amount is one of the Tracking
Parameters that track the giving history of an account. Processed Amount
represents contributions that have been finalized. It is automatically
calculated and shown, reflecting transactions in Closed Envelopes (that is, the
Envelope and all transactions have been entered, the deposit has been made, and
the Envelope has been closed).
What is Total In? The Total In Amount is used in tracking the
giving of an account. Total In is automatically calculated and shown,
reflecting what is currently in as Processed dollars, Reported dollars, and
Verbal dollars. Processed + Reported + Verbal = Total In
