One of the benefits of Microsoft-CRM is the wealth of
training resources available in book form. Our friends at StratusLIVE
assembled the following list of CRM related books they recommend for United Way
staff members new to this platform. All of the links listed below
are for the Upic University affiliate link at Amazon, which provides a discount
to you and a small donation to the Upic University staff library.
Step by Step MS-CRM
“This Step by Step book is a good, lightweight introduction
to MS-CRM and includes a practice CD.”
Sam’s Teach Yourself MS-CRM in 24 Hours
This Teach Yourself book is a little more advanced
than the Step by Step book. However, the one downside to this book is the
screen images are small and hard to read. The content is actually
quite good if you can live with the images.”
MS-CRM for Dummies
“Some people like the “Dummies”-type book. We don’t
rate this one very highly, but the approach is simple.”
Working With MS-CRM
“The “Working With…” book is a little more advanced and
technically oriented. It provides good content and information for the
individual looking for more depth.”
MS-CRM Dynamics Unleashed
“This Unleashed book is probably similar to the “Working
with…” book, suitable for intermediate users. It does have some
good content.”
Building Workflows in MS-CRM
“For those who will be building workflows in CRM 4.0, this is
very focused on the topic.”
