Did you know that Upic University now has a weekly podcast? Our tag line is " where Upic geeks and United Ways meet”.
But what IS a podcast? Think of it as TiVo for audio programming. With a podcast, you can listen to the shows you subscribe to when you want and where you want with your MP3 player or iPod. Imagine getting new “radio” style talk auto-magically downloaded onto your player every day. You wake up and have new shows ready to listed to while you exercise or commute to work.
Probably the best explanation comes from our friends at Common Craft.

The Upic University podcast is a virtual classroom where we will share technology tips, social media insights, and United Way best practices to help our audience meet their mission.
Each week, we’re going to answer audience questions about technology and feature news/interviews from the world of non-profit organizations, technology and our United Way members.
Our goal is to release a new episode each week, ranging between 15-25 minutes and featuring your audio feedback/questions (Andar, CRM, social media, tech tips) and your best practices (something your United Way is doing you’d like to share). We will also include interviews with United Way and industry leaders.
We invite your participation in upcoming podcasts by calling our podcast hotline 24/7 toll-free at 1-866-800-9898. And you can subscribe FREE via i-Tunes to get the next show as we release them.
